Advantages and Disadvantages of Downloadable Web Design Software
Advantages:
- Don’t need an internet connection to work
- In theory, it SHOULD run faster than a hosted solution
- I can’t think of anything else! Can you?
Disadvantages
- Can only work on your site on machines where the software is installed
- Changes need to be uploaded so it’s not as fast to make changes
- Software costs $$ to buy and keep up to date
